macro setup
@show countdown
suppressmacrofailures
/cast inferno
/cast countdown
/cast flamebolt
/cast fireball

im not very experienced in this build but i know it does really good burst single target dps especially when heatwave is up. you basically make sure you have the pyromancer armor buff on you and you cast ground of power and stand in it. then you mash your macro button until you get a cinderburst instacast proc. use heatwave whenever its off cooldown as well as intensify elements.

Basically cast Ground of Power and stay in it as much as possible. You can use burning shield to move your ground instantly once every 30s. Don't use Ignite, or Fiery Assault. For AE, you can cast Burning Ground first, then channel Fire Storm, but it may be better AE dps to just go with Fire Storm only, due to the way SP is applied to it.

One thing to keep in mind is that Heat Wave actually refreshes elementalist Intensify Elements (unless it has been recently changed), so the best way to get good burst is to cast Flame Bolt for the 10% fire dmg, Intensify Elements, Heat Wave, toggle on your Internalize Charge for 20% fire dmg, and spam fireball only until both buffs are down. Refresh Flame Bolt buff when needed and use Cinder Burst when available. You probably want to have either a separate macro, or have a separate fireball on it's own button for this, since you don't want to cast countdown during this time. Once this is down, you can Intensify Elements again. Many players suggest alternating Internalize Charge and Withering Flames each time your charge is at 90+. Also note that suppressmacrofailures will not keep Inferno from spamming you that the target is not below 30% health if using it in a macro.

For single target there are 2 debuffs you should maintain on the target at all times. 3 Stacks of Electrify and Ice Shear. Stacks of Electrify can be applied by Raging Storm, Forked Lightning, Thunderbolt or Lightning Storm. I prefer to apply the initial 3 stacks with Raging Storm and then maintain the stack with Forked Lightning or Raging Storm. Raging Storm is the fastest way to apply all three stacks, and Forked Lightning is higher damage then Thunderbolt. Ice Shear can only be applied by the spell Ice Shear, so there are not many options for maintaining that debuff.

The standard rotation is:
Raging Storm > Ice Shear > Lightning Strike > Lightning Field 5 times > Forked Lightning to refresh Electrify and then repeat starting with Ice Shear.

An alternative rotation is
3x Forked Lightning > Ice Shear > Lightning Strike > Lightning Field twice > Raging Storm > Then Alternating this and the standard rotation because the Raging Storm cooldown is 20 seconds long and cannot be used every rotation.

As soon as you have full charge activate Static Discharge, Intensify Elements, Static Flux, and on use Trinkets/Items in that order. You will want to do this immediately after reapplying your debuffs to get the most our of your cooldowns. Once everything is active continue your normal rotation.

While everything is on cooldown be sure you are activating Static Flux whenever you have charge.
Macro for Lightning Strike and Lightning Field, this is your spam nuke:
#show Lightning Strike
suppressmacrofailures
cast Lightning Strike
cast Lightning Field

The spec is: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1z...kRgkAtz.xb.x0h

Setup the following macro:

#show Icy Carapace
suppressmacrofailures
cast Icy Carapace
cast Lightning Strike
cast Crystalline Missiles

I bind this Macro to Q, Elemental Forces to E, and Ignite to 2. This is personal preference as long as those three buttons are in easy to reach places.

You will also want Intensify Elements and Swarming Flames are your bar.

The rotation is a priority system. Make sure Elemental Armor, Synergize and your Greater Air Elemental is up. Then:

Entropic Veil when you have charge
Ignite when it wears off
Spam the macro.

Intensify Elements has a 2 minutes cooldown while Swarming Flames has a 3 minute cooldown. Intensify Elements does not affect Swarming Flames or Element Forces, so use them as soon as they are available instead of trying to stack them. Intensify Elements does stack with Entropic Veil, so make sure you have full charge and use it when you cast Intensify Elements.

You gain charge incredibly fast in this spec (25% from Warlock, 15% from Elemental Armor, 3 per cast from your pet) so the uptime should be around 80%.

AE Target DPS:
This build should maximize DPS on AE type encounters

The AoE rotation is pretty straight forward. If there are 5 or less Mobs use Forked Lightning 3 times, and then Lightning Field. Then just rinse and repeat until everything is dead.
If there 3 mobs you can cast Lightning Field twice before refreshing with Forked Lightning, if there are 2 mobs you can cast lightning Field 3 times before refreshing with Forked Lightning.
You can also maintain Hypothermia on the targets with hailstorm, or Arctic Blast but the benefit is mediocre at best.

If there is more then 5 targets use Lightning Storm followed by Lightning Field once. Continue with Forked Lightning 3 times followed by Lightning Field.

That is pretty much it. There are variations on this spec for specific fights, and some people even work in Building Storm and Arctic Blast. For more information check out bluedots.org.

Single and AE Target DPS:
This build will probably be the most popular build for mages and should maximize DPS on single target boss as well as provide high AE dps. If you can do 700+ DPS on boss, switch targets and start doing 600-700 dps on a single add - then i think in many cases that is as good doing 500 dps on boss then being able to switch and do 800-900 dps on adds.

Grinsa's build:
Necro Warlock

http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0z...kzs.etoA0VV.0z

Here is my cast rotation for single targets:
Neddra's Torture
Necrosis
Dark Touch
Life Leech
Void Bolt until Neddra's Torture refreshes

If there is a dps check on a fight (like when Duke rages), I cast Lich Form and Sacrifice Life: Damage if it is up.

For AOE mobs, I just cast Devouring Shadoes. I also use Lich Form and Sacrifice Life: Damage on AOE mobs if they are up.

Also, any time I take damage and need heals, I cast Soul Purge. You also have Reclaim Power which steals life from your pet to give you power which is great.
